Abstract
This is a detailed narrative about a community-building art installation exhibited in a downtown park near Seattle, WA. The artist describes her process of creating the exhibit and her reasons for exploring individualism and collectivism through the medium of seeds.
Details include the wild foraging of seeds in an urban area with a traditional seed farmer, and hand- building recyclable seed pod sculptures in which she invites visitors to create mini-pods as add-ons for the larger pieces. Thus, symbolically connecting the individual to the collective consciousness. This art project took place in the summer and fall of 2024.

Allison Crain Trundle
Allison Crain Trundle spent her childhood exploring woods and farmland, which influenced the natural world in her artwork. For her college studies, she attended The College of Fine Arts at the University of New Mexico, where she received her degree with a focus on figure drawing, landscape painting, and flamenco dance. Allison is a multidisciplinary artist utilizing sculpture, painting, and dance in many of her installation works. She is currently living on a Pacific Northwest Island with her partner, children, and her many furry four-legged kids.
